A collection of ringside photography from professional boxing shows, focused on the speed, tension and split-second moments that define a fight.

Working ringside means there is very little distance between you and the action, so the challenge is being ready for the exchanges, reactions and quieter moments that happen between rounds.

I approach each show by following the rhythm of the fight rather than looking for the same type of image every time. Some of the strongest frames come from impact and movement, while others come from the seconds before or after the action when the emotion is more visible.

This collection brings together photographs from different professional shows, documenting the intensity of the sport from as close to the action as possible.
